Storyboarding and Planning
Every children’s book begins with an idea, but bringing that idea to life takes thoughtful planning and collaboration. Once your manuscript is in its final draft, we can begin exploring how the story will translate visually. Through storyboarding, character sketches, and rough layout ideas, we’ll map out the pacing, composition, and visual flow of each page before the final illustrations are created. This early stage gives us the opportunity to make sure the artwork supports the story, captures the personality of the characters, and creates a cohesive visual experience from beginning to end. Regular communication and progress check-ins throughout the process keep us aligned and allow the illustrations to develop naturally alongside your story.
